An article by Boyce Thompson of Builder Magazine was recently published in which James Diffley of IHS Global Insight predicated that Atlanta would be one of the first housing markets to recover. A managing director at IHS, Diffley has analyzed the United States housing market for awhile. The strong economy and low prices for homes are contributing factors to this suggestion. As with the rest of the economy, Atlanta has had a downturn in business and housing markets, yet comparatively
has suffered little inflation or home depreciation, making them a prime candidate for financial recovery, particularly in the housing sector.
The Atlanta housing market has a unique blend of traditional and modern architecture and housing, as well as an emerging sustainable living industry. Designs range from classic estate-style homes to more contemporary bungalow and ranch style homes. Atlanta ranks very highly as a cost effective city. Atlanta has a large inventory of lovely and affordable homes waiting to be purchased now!
